What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen While On Dayquil?

I got a cold/flu on Sunday...different type cold than I usually have...been taking DayQuil every 4 hours...2days ago started feeling stomach pains...at least i think it is my stomach...pains above my waist and below my waist...very hard to sleep...going through some coughing spells too...wondered about a reaction to the tylenol ...really achy when my 4 hours are up YYYY@ YYYY.com

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pain is a major symptom in viral infection. So, Tynelol helps by giving just symptomatic relief. You have to drink lot of water to avoid constipation following Tynelol. Take stool softener like Cremaffin. If constipated, then you should not take the pill on an empty stomach (Tynelol is likely to cause acidity and upper abdominal pain. OTC medicine Histac would relieve pain. Continue inhaling vapor. Have light nutritive food along with above care. Consult your doctor, if the symptoms persist or increase or you have fever -after 3-5 days of home care.
