Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The ultrasound term anechoic (no echos) may be used to describe fluid like cyst fluid.Given the small size, it may not be a cause for concern and less likely to be the cause of your pains.Mild fluid collection in cul-de-sac is suggestive of a PID.This condition may be painful and may explain your symptoms.I will suggest you see your Gynecologist for management.You will need a course of antibiotis for this condition.You may be placed on -Amoxcicillin-clavulanic acid -Metronidazole -An anti-spamodic pain drug like spasfon if pain intense -Pain/anti-inflammatory like profenid.
