What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

my boyfriend is experiencing pain in the lower mid quadrant on his abdomen the pain seems mostly suprapubic with increased pain upon palpation, he is having trouble passing urine and feels like he needs to go constantly witch only produces a small amount . this has been going on for 2 days. he is stubborn and does not want to go to the hospital hi my boyfriend is experiencing somewhat severe lower quad abdominal pain in the supra pubic region. it worsens on palpation I do not notice any swelling since he isa little chunky-hard to tell . this has been going on for two days and he is also having trouble urinating. he feels like he has to go often and often and only produces a small amount. he feels like he has to go often but with same results. this has been going on for 2 days.

He might be having urinary tract infection which can be confirmed by a urine routine and if confirmed urine culture and sensitivity needs to be done to decide which antibiotic he needs to take. Consult a primary care physician to do all this. If its an urinary tract infection it will resolve with the right choice of antibiotic chosen after doing urine culture and sensitivity
