Hello,
I read your message and understood your problem.
I see you have
osteoarthritis and
fibromyalgia which both contribute in causing pain. Fibromyalgia causes widespread
musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis causes pain by damaging the joint cartilage and causing stiffness and irritation of the nearby nerves.
If you did not have back pain before and it just appeared recently, may it is because osteoarthritis has spread to the spine or fibromyalgia has affected the truncal muscles too.
Your situation needs to be evaluated from your healthcare provider as you need further examination to determine the cause. It is possible that a
lumbar hernia has occurred as a complication of the two medical conditions you have. A spine CT would be very helpful after a proper physical examination by a doctor.
The medications you take which include Advil (or ibuprofen), Tramadol ( a narcotic painkiller) and Tylenol for treating pain and Flexeril as a
muscle relaxant, are needed to keep you fit and functional in your everyday life. If the pain is not anymore reduced by these drugs, then other painkillers which are stronger need to be used (opioids, morphine-like drugs).
Also, physical
rehabilitation which includes exercise and
physiotherapy is necessary for a better of control pain.
Hope this was helpful.
