What Causes Pain In The Lower Back And Hips?

I have extreme pain in my stomach, right hip and in lower back. I have thrown up twice in last 4 hours. Pain gets a little easier but has not stopped. At times it is severe. I had a bowel movement around 3 hours ago and it was loose but not liquid. Chilling and in bed.

I understand your concern.

Cyclical pain in abdomen,back and hip area,with vomiting can be due to appendicitis/right kidney stoney.

If I were your treating doctor,I would recommend,
-Please get your blood haemogram,urinanalysis and USG abdo done.It will confirm the above diagnosis.
-Combination of anti spasmodic and analgesic like mefenamic acid plus diclofenac twice a day for 3 days along with antacids for pain relief.
-If it is appendicitis or kidney stone associated with urinary tract infection,oral antibiotics like cipro/metro has to be started for a period of 7-10 days.
Assesment through general surgeon is required for clinical examination and consideration of surgical option if required especially in case of appendicitis.
-Maintain adequate intake of water to atleast minimum 8-10 glasses of water per day.
-have adequate rest.
