What Causes Pain In The Lower Back And Legs?

I am having severe lower back pain that radiates down both legs and feet. I have had this problem for several years and see a pain management doctor for this. Approximately 6-8 months ago I began having what I thought were bladder infections. I would go to the Dr. but, no infection. I have debilitating pain in my groin/bladder region that shoots down my legs. When I begin to urinate I get a shooting pain from my bladder region to my hips and down my leg (especially my left side) into my foot. It will worsen if I bend or twist and walking makes it worse. This pain has been worsening and more frequent these 6-8 months. I do not have incontinence but, if do have residual leaking at times.
