What Causes Pain In The Lower Back?

Hello doctor, My question is that, I have been suffering for low back pain for 20 years now and lately then is just increasing. I leave in Ireland, it seems like there no much they can do here. My doctor told me, I have a problem with my spin; my disc is robbering each other. So should I suppose to do now, this pain is affecting my job. Tell me your opinion, because I am thinking to go under surgery now maybe it will help. Thank you Ruth

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would like to directly review your spinal cord MRI study for a more professional opinion. I would also recommend checking vitamin D and calcium plasma levels for possible deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
