What Causes Pain In The Lower Back?

my lower back area inside hurts with a burning pain. this has been happening for a few weeks. It feels like the area of my kidneys. I have had bladder cancer before and I am being tested every 6 months for reoccurrence of tumors. I feel like the last test something went wrong and got damaged or infected. Bad pain when I try to sleep or get up. It gets a little better after I stand up for a while.
