I have pain when I sit down in certain position . It feels like something is sticking me or poking me in the upper part of my bottom. If I sit towards the side it doesn t hurt . I also have a pulled feeling across the lower part of my back. This all started after my son and I were playing and he was sitting on my back . After reading on the Internet I feel something to my tailbone .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the posture. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest gentle stretching exercises for relieve. The symptoms will go away gradually.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
