Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In the past two months I have had an increase in generalized achiness in both my lower extremities. No injury. NSAIDS are no help. I am on my feet all day, I have good shoes with inserts in them. This has come on fairly suddenly. I am mildly overweight by my weight has not changed in 10 years.
Pain in lower extremities can be due to various causes like anemia, vitamin deficiencies etc. I suggest you get a complete blood count peripheral blood smear examination and vitamin D levels. In case any abnormality is detected, suitable supplements are suggested.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
