What Causes Pain In The Lower Left Portion Of Chest?
Hi, I m a 47 year old woman and I m experiencing pain in the lower left portion of my chest. It s not bad, on a scale of 1 to 10, I d rate it a 3, it s just making me very uncomfortable. Knowing that the heart attack symptoms for women are different than those that men experience it just has me a wee bit concerned.

. It could be heart ailment or muscle pain or originating from abdomen. But you need to rule out heart ailment first and immediately you get an ECG done. If it is normal take pain killers (ibuprofen 600mg) . If still no relief get an ultrasound scan of abdomen as abdomen problems can present as chest pain.
