Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen Radiating The Groin Area?
I am a 58 year old male with a dull pain on my right abdomen near my pelvic bone. This pain radiates towards my groin area. No stool changes, tenderness, or body temperature changes. Feeling good other than this dull pain. I had right side hernia surgery in the early 2000 s that has left a slight abdominal wall budge on my right side.
I would advise you to have an ultrasound examination done to rule out a hernia, especially due to your history of hernia surgery in that side. A hernia can recur so it is important to rule it out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
