Hi, my mother is a 35 year old women, no health issues, and she s recently been having an excruciating back pain on her lower right side. She does not have a bruise, nor discoloration, so we have no idea what this could be. It s located higher than her liver, but not as high as her ribs.
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
Excruciating , piercing pains are usually due to nerve issues which can be because of impinged nerve within a spasmed muscle or between vertebrae,I would suggest you to visit your doctor and discuss this pain with him doctor might want to run some tests like Xray spine or MRI if he too considers it a nerve issue. Currently massage , warm compressed and pain killer like Tylenol can help with the pain.
After a detailed checkup your doctor might consider giving you neurolaptic pain relieving medications like Pregabalin.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
