What Causes Pain In The Middle Back While Suffering From Multiple Sclerosis?

If so, I have Multiple sclerosis dx 2006 and also spondylosis dx 1997, cervical stenosis dx 1997, and other spine issues and I am a 66 year old woman, who uses a motorized wheel chair as well as a walker. I am going to be back in PT this month. Have been in PT, OT and NMT, on and off for 20yrs. I am currently experiencing pain in my mid back pain under where my bra strap would be and the horrid sensation is as if vertebrae are collapsing, happens in my lower back too at times, I do have osteopenia but not osteoporosis. Horrid feeling, lying in bed now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You should see a doctor for a physical examination. It is difficult to say what is causing it, but with your history, spondylolisthesis or a collapsed vertebra must be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
