Hello,
Central chest pain can be from Heart, stomach, Lung, blood vessel, or muscle skeletal pain.
Do you have any history of DM, HTN, High cholesterol? Chest pain association with
shortness of breath or fever or exertion? How long it take? and how is the characteristic of pain? any stress recently?
If you pain for stomach you will experience burning, maybe nausea or vomiting,
weight loss, decreased appetite... So you may respond to
Omeprazole or
Ranitidine.
If from the skeletal muscle you may experience pain when you moving or shaking or when you touch. You may respond to decrease activity and NSAID like Ibuprofen.
Lung you do not have difficulty with breathing., but any cough or fever? If you have you should check with your home doctor.
The heart is very concern one. You would experience with chest pain radiation to other place, feel like squeeze pain or heavy or tightness. Association with shortness of breath and exertion. If I am your doctor I would other ECG,
stress test to rule out Myocardia
Infarction or
ischemic heart disease. If you have it you need emergency managment. You should make sure with your home doctor.
