Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In The Navel After Using A Misoprostol Vaginal Suppository?
I took 4 pills of misoprostol vaginally last week Monday, I felt no bleeding or cramping , so I took another 4 pills the following day. I bled for a while and had diarrhea and then I was fine. A week now and I started feeling bloated and I have been burping. I also have severe pains at my belly button.
The very first thing is to know why you have prescribed Misoprostol drug vaginally. The affects you are feeling are due to Misoprostol use. I highly recommend getting back to your gynecologist and get checked your uterus and ovaries.
The bloating you are feeling 1 week now is due to incoming periods.
Take diclofenac for the pain. You might need hormonal replacement therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini
