What Causes Pain In The Nipple Of The Left Breast?
I m a 64 year old man and have been having pain in my nipple of my left breast. I saw my doctor in March and told him about some pain in my breast area. He didn t seem to think it was of concern. I ve noticed when I bicycle I get pain from time to time in my breast if I hit a bump in the road. Should I consult my doctor or is it just gynomastica.
Hi, thank you ofr your question, I understand your concern. Sometimes different organs are supplied by the same nerve endings and the brain mistakes one for the other. To consider. Is it the bump or the effort from pedalling giving you the pain if so, likely heart . Is it when you take a deep breath in- if so likely chest/lung. Is there a lump on the breast, or discharge from the nipple? if so likely breast condition needing further tests. gynecomastia is excess breast tissue in the male patient. the breast can be tender but usually there is also increased volume.
I hope this helps
