What Causes Pain In The Ovary And Fallopian Tube Area?

I am not sexually active, however, I started having sharp throbbing pains around the ovary and fallopian tube are. It is not constant, but on and off. I do not have pain anywhere else.this is the first day I ve experienced this. The feeling is different from ovulation pains. My cycle is expected 7/9.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. It has to be determined if the pain is superficial or deep-seated. Any trauma should be taken into consideration. Infection has to be excluded. If there is no relief with rest and antispasmodic medication, further investigation is required. A sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route is necessary. Please see your health care provider for further management. Take care.
