What Causes Pain In The Prostate Area Of A Cancer Patient?

My husband is experiencing pain the in the prostate area...says it feels like broken glass. does not burn or hurt when urinating but after urination symptoms are a little pronounced. He has prostate cancer in 2007, had surgery, then radiation and is now taking shots of Eligard. Eligard seems to be managing his cancer symptoms. He has had a CT scan and and Nuclear medicine test of the bones and both tests show NO advancement of the prostate cancer. WE are at a loss as to what this could be. He has to take a sleep aide to sleep at night because of these symptoms
