What Causes Pain In The Rib Cage Upon Breathing?
The whole of my rib cage both back and front is very sore. If I breath really deeply it aches (not really hurts). However, after doing some activities (not strenuous ones) the pain in the left side is awful - it goes away - but whilst it is there it is very painful. It is all very random and unpredictable and doesn t seem to relate to any specific movement or task. I have osteoporosis in the bottom of my spine which doesn t help either. Please could you give me an indication of what might be causing this. Thank you

It could be a muscular pain as in case of costochondritis. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
