Hi I am a 56 year old woman and was recently diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in my ribs. Usually the bone pain has been in my ribs just be,i.e. the right breast but now I feel pain in a specific location on my right side on the rib and not directly under my breast. Is that normal?
I think the pain may be due to degenerative arthritis as you have mentioned. You should go for some investigation like simple X-Ray chest PA view or better if you go for CT Scan of chest. If pain is severe, you can take some analgesic till the investigation reports are available.
