What Causes Pain In The Ribs Radiating Towards The Lower Back?

I am hurting under my ribs down to my hips and it goes all the way to my back on my right side. My appetite is gone. I m nausiated. The pain is sometimes stabbing other times it feels like its being squeezed. I am swollen and have no energy. I have been running a low grade fever. I am trying to find out what I should do cause I don t have any insurance and out of work right now.

in my opinion according to your symptoms this could be an episode of Acute pancreatitis. I would recommend you to visit an gastrophysician as soon as possible. your blood check up for SGOT/ SGPT ALP is necessary. do you drink too much? it's most common cause is alcohol, I would recommend you to stop alcohol if u drink. do you have gall bladder problem in past.? gallstones may also cause these symptoms. I would recommend you to visit some concerned doctor nearby.
