What Causes Pain In The Right Arm From The Shoulder To The Elbow?
My right arm has been aching for 2 weeks from below the shoulder to the elbow for no apparent reason. The pain seems to radiate and is getting slightly worse and is very noticeable at night. It is a dull ache and I can t make it worse in any way by moving my arm. Ideas?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to nerve compression syndrome from cervical spondylosis. A physical examination by orthopedician and X ray followed by MRI of cervical spine will be helpful to rule out the condition. Taking muscle relaxants, neurotropic drugs like pregabalin and methylcobalamin as well as physiotherapy will be helpful to clear this. Avoid high pillows and use orthopedic pillow.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
