What Causes Pain In The Right Hip Joint?

I am 92 years old in good shape - but have a pain problem with my right hip joint. I just about used all the Tylenlol - I can handle . I need something stronger. My Son In law had surgergy and had now stop using the Tramadol they gave him. I am not much of a pill taker but the pain is getting to me. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I am sure he will help me. In the meantime is it okay for me to take only one of the Tramdol HCL 50 MG. Your help appreciated. Helen L Zink.
