What Causes Pain In The Right Knee?

Hi. I m Jason. Had a bit of difficulty with my right knee this morning. It was kinda achey. Pain and aches have spread below my knee and up into my hip. Hurts when I put my weight on it. While sitting, it throbs. While standing, it throbs and shoots. I just found out my insurance has lapsed, so now I m trying to figure this out on my own. Well, now with your help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to gonoarthrosis.

Some examination that should be done are:

-An X-ray

-A rheumatoid blood factor

Some advice that I can give to you are:

-use cool or heat compresses for relief

-use anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day

-If you do not get better you should take prescribed corticosteroids.

Hope I have answered your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
