What Causes Pain In The Right Knee?

I ve had knee pain on the inside of the right knee related to a car accident several years back. It was scoped & suggested a possible knee replacement in the future. Just in the last couple of weeks I ve started feeling the same pain at the same spot in the left knee. I swim regularly but am still overweight. Any ideas on the new pain (I am 59 years old)?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thank you for posting this question. The pain is most likely related to been overweight and the car accident several years ago. I will advice you ensure you lose weight by exercising and diet. An X-ray of the leg would be proper to do too, to know how the knee joint is.
I hope it helps. Thank you.
