What Causes Pain In The Right Knee?

I have had some right knee pain, saw an orthopedics and had xrays, which showed some arthritis. The other day on vacation, I had an episode of sharp pain behind my knee, then radiating around it. It is still dieters, and at times while walking, it will give out and I will get a sharp pain again.

hi mam/sir, as u have already mentioned, its arthritis of knee joint.knee joint arthritis usually occurs in females above 40yrs and in males above 50yrs.it causes severe pain and also restriction of certain movements of the joint.i suggest to go for pain relief medication first then, you can approach physio.if your kidneys are alright and if you are not above 60yrs,i suggest tab.ACECLOFENAC.if you have any other co morbidities like kidney disease, diabetes, uncontrolled blood pressure and so on, you can go for paracetamol with tramadol combination.after pain relief, just consult a physiotherapist and learn knee muscle strenghtening exercises.take care.bye.
