What Causes Pain In The Right Side Of The Abdomen And Lower Back?

I have been having pains on my right side since Monday. Monday it was major cramping in the adomen area. Tuesday it seem to move down to my hip area with on and off sharp pains in my lower back. Today the pain is much less. I had my gull bladder removed about a yr. ago. I have been constipated and belching alot right after i eat. Tries to get a Dr, appt. til July 6th. Should I go to an Urgent care or wait to see if better tomorrow. I really don t feel like its bad enough for ER, but if they send me there then it is 2 co-pays?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to constipation and bloating. I suggest using an over the counter laxative such as Miralax. I also suggest using spasmolytic such as Buscopan 10 mg three times a day. I recommend to drink liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
