What Causes Pain In The Right Side Of The Buttocks?

I fell a week ago and since then have been experiencing pain in buttocks. particularly right side. I thought at first I hurt my tailbone but when I press on it there isn t any pain. Nor when I press on the tissues. It is particularly painful when I change position but it seems to be getting worse. Difficult to sit or stand. Pain is often constant and sharp. Is it a cranky nerve?
