Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Im 21 years old and woke up with a dull aching pain in my right testicle. ive had this happen once before a few months ago, but went away the next day. im hoping that will be the case this time. Is this cause for concern? the pain happened right after breakfast about half an hour after waking up
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern. As per your history the mild pain can be because of the torsion you may have got during sleep.
As you said you had this second time what you can do press your testicle by your finger if you feel it is numb or there is any loss of sensation (you may not get a jerk) it may be the cause of concern.
You may need to visit a general physician for proper check up, it may be orchitis of testicle too and you may be prescribed antibiotics like doxicycline too.
Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further questions.
Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
