Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain
paralysis of roof of mouth along with swelling and fullness can be a side effect of medication which can lead to inflammation of the roof of mouth leading to numb feeling..
There can also be inflamed
sinuses leading to pressure over the face..
As far as taking antibiotics is concerned, it will be helpful in case if there is infection but as of ow it seems more probably to be medication side effect and not infection..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation, and oral swab culture and
blood test will help in ruling out the cause and will be treated accordingly..
As of now continue taking anti-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen and also do alternate warm and cool compresses over the roof of mouth..
In case if side effect of medicine is the culprit then changing the medication or dose reduction can help..
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards..
