What Causes Pain In The Roof Of The Mouth With Frequent Salivation?
Hi am Felix, 24 years of age..am having pains in the upper part of my mouth with frequent salivation and this is not the first time.. When it comes I use omeparazole and antibiotics for treatment. I want to find out what really trgers the infection. Thank you
Pain on roof of mouth along with excess salivation can be due to causes like throat infectio, acid reflux, post nasal drip etc..
For a correct line of treatment, the exact cause has to be ruled out and for this consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen.. You can gargle with antiseptic mouthwash gargles as it will also help in reducing salivation as it has drying effect in mouth..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
