What Causes Pain In The Scrotum After A Femoral Fracture Surgery?
My husband had a linear fracture of the left femur. It was surgically treated with the insertion of a titanium rod. Two weeks post op he is complainingof pressure and pain in the left groin and pressure in the scrotum. Is this related to the surgery?

I think this problem is not related to surgery procedure. I think he is having a simple urinary tract infection.
Antibiotics can be used and trimetoprim-sulfometoxazol is preferred as first line treatment of simple uti.
