What Causes Pain In The Shoulder And Abdomen After An Injury?
I fell hard on the ground while playing cricket 4 days ago; initially I was only sore on left shoulder and don t remmber abdominal pain. After a few hours, I noticed some pain on the left upper quadrant which fluctuated depending on the abdominal wall pressure (like muscle spasm). When I do physical activity, I can feel a pul and pain o the LUQ, but disappears with rest and that time there is no tenderness. I am eating well and am generally fine. COuldit be abdominal wall or fat bruising. I am taking Brufen which seems to help.
I suggest taking plenty of water which will help to get relive from spasm if need you can take tablet myospaz BD(twice daily after food) for 3 days. I advise you to take an X-Ray of abdomen/ USG Abdomen and refer a physician for further diagnostic information.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini
