What Causes Pain In The Shoulder And Arm?

I have pain in my shoulder that shoots down my arm. My elbow hurts. The muscles in that arm hurts. My hand is numb and painful. This has been going on for two months now. I have to take a lot of pain meds to be able to sleep. I end up waking up after sleeping for three to four hours in pain.

Hi,

In my opinion, this problem is due to cervical nerve compression. Start painkillers, muscle relaxants and physiotherapy. Get an MRI to confirm the diagnosis.
