General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is very common for a patient to experience muscular pain while having a viral infection.
Because the pain in your case is severe, you may try to take painkillers regularly. For instance, paracetamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 600 mg together after food every 6 hours. Make sure you rest well and drink plenty meanwhile.

If you notice no improvement in 2-3 days or you notice any worsening, you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician.
