What Causes Pain In The Skull After A Head Injury?
My skull is very painful, tender near the left frontal hairline, over the years l have had several accidents where my head was injured very near that spot but nothing for several years until this. Could that be associated with all the blows l received in that area? There was no concussion involved.

I want to know something about you that whenever you had met an accident did you get any MRI or CT scan of head? So that we could find the cause of your headache. The headache is not uncommon in post head injury. The headache can occur immediately or after some time due internal bleeding within brain or swelling.
If there swelling between the brain and the covering of the brain it increases the pressure on skull and leads to severe headache gradually. If you hurt with small injury in your brain you will feel the unconsciousness or disturbance of thoughts but in severe head injury its not necessary that you feel prolong headache and all.
It can be due to all other causes like neck and skull injuries that is not yet fully healed, tension and stress or side effects from medication. Some times, brain injury leads to migraine type headache or one side headache as you are telling about you. Although, its better to consult the neuro to rule out the cause of your pain and get MRI or C T scan of the head and spine.
