What Causes Pain In The Small Finger?

On my left pinkie finger, in the most outward region of the finger, my finger is now bent and there is a very slight pain there. Ithink it may be broken. Should I see a doctor, or will this heal by itself? I ve had this condition for about 2-3 weeks, and am disappointed that the bent ness has remained.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics/anti inflammatory combination for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get an X-ray done to rule out fracture or contusion.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
