What Causes Pain In The Solar Plexus And Back?

My mum is having pain in the solax plexus and also feel pain on her back. I did the blood test for her and the doctor advised the results are all good except for the cholesterol is slightly more. The doctor has given medicine for acid reflux for 5days but my mum still feel the pain but slightly lesser. The doctor thinks there is only 2 possibilty which is acid reflux or gallblader stone.Could you please advise any natural home remedies and what could be the cause. Thank you Kana

Hi,

The medications for reflux have not helped your Mother.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
She needs proper clinical evaluation as the history of pain at solar plexus and ack at the same time can be due to pancreatitis or ulcer on the posterior wall of the stomach or some problem in retroperitoneal area.
Take her to ER for clinical evaluation and examination, preferably by a General Surgeon.
CT scan of abdomen is one investigations that can really help.
Upper GI Endoscopy.
Tests of blood. particularly fir liver and pancreas.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus will have proper management.
