General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The sternum pain is due to sternotomy performed during the bypass
surgery. The constipation issue may be multi factorial as - lack of mobility, exercises - side effect of certain drugs as anti-hypertensive, anti-anginal and so forth. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
