What Causes Pain In The Stomach And Lower Back?

Over the past 6 months I ve sporatically have been getting a pain in my stomach. It feels like someone has there hand in there squeezing and twisting my stomach. About 10 minutes later I throw up. Then 10 minutes later the pain goes away. It has happened twice over the past two weeks. Ever since it happened last week my stomach on both sides have been sore and tender. My lower back hurts also. I had an ultrasound last Thursday that showed gall stones. Yesterday I had a HIDA CCK and it came back normal. Any suggestions. My mother had a hernia wrapped around her intestine and had to have emergency surgery. I fear this is what I have.
