What Causes Pain In The Stomach And Ovaries After Having The Intercourse On The Third Day Of Menstruation?
hello doctor, I had my periods since Tuesday (14th january), yesterday and day before i had sex. And yesterday while i was having sex, i started bleeding again but it stopped today morning. And now my stomach and ovaries hurt if i talk loudly or laugh, or even walk! What is wrong?
Having sex during menstruation is not contraindicated as long as the women feels no discomfort.Any vaginal infections should be identified and treated. There are two types of infection that may occur due to sexual activity: STIs and problems caused by changes in normal vaginal flora, such as yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis.
While yeast infections can also occur without engaging in sexual activity, people may have a higher risk of getting a yeast infection due to the hormonal changes during a period.
Anispasmodics and pain killers can be taken to relieve discomfort.Further sexual contact can be avoided for a few days.
