What Causes Pain In The Stomach And Shoulder Blades?
I get a gnawing pain right in the center of me that I feel at the top of my stomach and also between my shoulder blades. It starts like a hunger pang, but it is much more intense. It occurs when I haven t eaten in a few hours. Once I eat something-particularly something like a cracker or a slice of bread, some carbohydrate, it calms down. The pain has gotten increasingly stronger lately. Does this sound like an ulcer?
hi don't worry, it's a very common problem faced by many people all over the world. it's only gastritis that is excess acid secretion in the stomach.the most common cause is stress.other causes are irregular eating habits, eating spicy foods, smoking, alcohol consumption. ulcer formation is also common but it can be treated by avoiding the above whatever I have mentioned. just eat your meals regularly. drink plenty of water. avoid stress and spicy food. if at all u get pain first try a glass of cold milk and see whether it subsides before starting any medication.
