Hello, recently I have started going on jogs and haven t really warmed up properly. My testicles started hurting after a few days of running. I now have noticed a small bump, smaller than a bb at the top of my right testicle near my epidid... could running have caused a cyst? I have had it for a few days and it hasn t grown at all.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here your small bump has to be examined by doctor by checking for trasillumination test in which torch put behind testes and look for whether light passing through it or not so that solid or transparent mass can be decided

Mostly as per history it seems epididymal cyst

USG done also for more work up

If no symptom and remain same in size than treatment not needed

If increasing in size and hard mass than excised

Take care

Consult general surgeon for examination
