Hello,
Pain in the thigh while sitting is indicative of some
nerve compression, it can be due to obesity, wearing tight clothing, heavy tool belt or a medical condition, Meralgia
paresthesia.
You are suggested to lose weight, control blood sugar if diabetic, do regular exercises, stay away from addictions if any.
Do stretch exercises & regular walking/jogging. However, get physically examined by a GP, to rule out any developing pathology like tumor,
sciatica,
bone fracture or
bursitis.
You can take analgesics or NSAIDS, one sos when pain to get rid of pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
