What Causes Pain In The Thighs And Ankles?

My 8 year old son has been having occasional pain in his thighs and ankles for the past few years which i was told were growing pains. His doctor ordered a lot of tests including a CBC which was normal but his ANA was 1;80. He has not had any fatigue, headaches rashes or fevers and always seems healthy. Could he have a disease

thigh, ankle and heel pain are common finding in growing age of children
Generally it's harmless but if associated symptoms like weakness, fatigue are there then some associated illness should be looked for
In the mean time we can observe the child
But why Ana test was carried out
if further details were available could have been much of help
I find this answer helpful
