What Causes Pain In The Thighs And Tingling Sensation On The Back?
I feel from a chair in November of 2016. Pain in thigh started a week after, I couldn t lift up leg without excruciating pain thought it could be bruised inside so waited it out for a month. I went to a local doctor they told be it could be a muscle strain or groin strain since I fell sideways on my thigh they said it could take several months to get better. It will be 6 months in May and my body hasn t been the same since before the fall. The pain has lessened a lot but still mild with tingling which started back in March. I am a type 2 diabetic for the past 2 years and the doctor says the tingling is from that but I feel like it s from the fall I had. I don t know what to do anymore I ve tried telling them to refer to me to a neurologist and they don t want too.. Any ideas on what it be or if it could be from the fall I had back in November? Any advice is appreciated Thank you.
Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam, a lumbar spine X-ray study, a sacral X-ray study and nerve conduction studies.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hi, I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to coccygodynia. A bulging disc in the lumbar vertebral column cannot be excluded either. Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam, a lumbar spine X-ray study, a sacral X-ray study and nerve conduction studies. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
