Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I get severe aching pain up and down both of my thighs at time. When this occurs it is bad enough to not want to stand. It sometimes follows, like this time, after being sick with a cold or something. In my family we refer to it as my bones hurting because it feel really deep.
The pain in the thighs after being sick with a cold is normal due to viral infection (cold) you experience.
If the pain will persist and will cause limitations in movements, then, should consult further with orthopedic specialist as might need a more specific evaluation and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
