Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing pain that began in the joint of my big toe, which has now moved to my heel and the side of my foot. The pain is most intense after resting and placing my foot on the floor. It does somewhat subside as the day progresses, but never completely. I am a business executive and dress up daily in high heels. What are your suggestions? Do I need to see an Ortho? Thanks, Tammi Grace Slone

What Causes Pain In The Toe Joint?
Hello, It could be arthritis or gout. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
