I have Reynauds & most winters one or more toes get very painful & very white, then red & ultimately black. Fortunately the winters here are not too long & with warm socks and some prescribed creams, plus a low dose blood pressure pill, it has been annoying, but bearable. My left ankle has developed numerous spider veins and looks blue. Occasionally in the winter, not more than twice they would get extremely itchy - like I d have to scratch til it was bloody. It only lasted a few days & I blamed my very warm socks & also have a prescribed cream for that. Well, this is summer & the itch is making me nuts! Have to scratch til bloody, then it s okay for one-one and a half days. I think both conditions are related, lousy circulation. My mother had peripheral artery disease, and my younger sister has it. Dr. Says I don t have it & that s good, but could there be a connection? I am a 68yr old woman who took great care of herself til my granddaughters moved in 8mos ago! Thanks-
